The book I'm reading is called "The Brothers" by Masha Gessen. The book is important to read because it tell of how what happens to you in your life can affect you in so many ways. One thing will lead to another and you may end up somewhere you never expected. In my book it ends with one of the brother (Jahar) in jail being placed under the death penalty and the other dead. It also tells about how their family reacts to the news and the shock of it all. In addition it talks about the people who were hurt in the bombing and people told a story from their perspective at the time of the marathon. The most valuable takeaway from this book is the roads you take in life can send you down others but it also tells of how sometimes it takes a bad event to bring people together. In the book it says "Sometimes all good things must be torn down and rebuilt to make a difference." I believe this applies strongly in my book. The bad event that took place rebuilt the community. This lesson is valuable in everyday life because it proves when things go wrong or you seem to have a bad day that will just make the the next day better. Cause if you think of it like most do you think "today was a bad day let me make tomorrow better" it will help you greatly and that's what happened in The Boston Marathon situation. They had an awful attack but the didn't dwell on in then and there, they got out and did something about it the police and FBI didn't waste anytime being mad or upset they got through it and the days that followed when they caught the bomber made those bad days better. Sometimes your outlook on a situation and your perspective can make all the difference.
